In this role, you will…

• Prepare data & templates for Hospital, Healthcare Facility and Senior Care Division rate reviews using Alteryx, Access and Excel.
• Complete required data, templates and rate factor files for rate filings.
• Review competitor rate filings and updating the team on competitor initiatives.
• Automate actuarial processes using Alteryx and Excel\Visual Basic for Applications.
• Support business units with ad hoc data requests and analyses.

We are looking for candidates with…

• BS in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant degree.
• Successful completion of two Actuarial exams and desire to attain FCAS designation.
• Demonstrated analytical/mathematical skills.
• Basic Excel & Access skills and a desire to become an expert in these applications.
• Good organization and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete all tasks of an assignment.
• Curiosity to identify when things don't look right and explore the causes.
• Desire to learn and willingness to try new/different approaches.
• Active communication – understands when issues should be raised and keeps management involved/updated.
