Job Description

Respected national law firm has a new opening for a Corporate Legal Assistant at their office in downtown Denver. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience supporting multiple attorneys specializing in corporate transactions/M&A in a law firm setting. Job Duties:

  • Prepare ancillary closing documents and signature packets.
  • File entity formations with the Secretary of State.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Draft correspondence and engagement letters.
  • Edit and format documents.
  • Heavy proofreading.
  • Assist with client intake and run conflicts checks.
  • Calendaring of deadlines.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Book travel arrangements.
  • Generate expense reports.
  • Handle time entry for attorneys.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Legal Assistant experience in corporate/transactional law.
  • Must have experience supporting corporate attorneys in a law firm setting.
  • Excellent writing, editing/formatting, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to commute to the firm's office in downtown Denver 4 days per week (working from home is allowed 1 day per week).
  • Must currently reside in the Denver metro area. Out-of-state candidates will not be considered.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 commensurate with experience.
