We are seeking an experienced Equal Opportunity Investigator to conduct impartial, confidential investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and policy violations (including Title IX matters) for a leading university system. This role requires meticulous fact-finding, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate sensitive cases with professionalism. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations into complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and misconduct. Gather and analyze evidence, interview parties/witnesses, and assess credibility. Prepare detailed investigative reports with findings and recommendations. Provide training and guidance on EEO policies, Title IX compliance, and related regulations. Collaborate with legal counsel, HR, and campus stakeholders. Qualifications 3-5+ years of investigative experience (Title IX, EEO, MCAD, OCR, workplace investigations, or related field). JD or advanced degree preferred (will consider strong candidates with relevant bachelor’s degrees). Deep understanding of federal/state anti-discrimination laws (Title IX, ADA, etc.). Exceptional writing, interviewing, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage a high caseload with complex, emotionally charged matters. Discretion, neutrality, and cultural competency in working with diverse populations. Position Details Location: Hybrid/remote options available (preference for Northeast candidates).
