The College Football Hall of Fame is searching for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be a team player, highly motivated, willing to develop their skills, and effective at communicating. A passion for college football, sports media, or fan culture is strongly preferred!
Job Summary: The Junior Graphic Designer serves as a member of the College Football Hall of Fame's in-house marketing team. This entry-level role supports the creation of compelling digital content across web, social, print, and video platforms. The ideal candidate is a collaborative visual storyteller with a passion for design, and a growing skillset in digital/traditional media.
Role, Responsibilities, and Key Performance Areas: - Design and produce assets for the Hall's digital platforms, including website graphics, email layouts, social content, and display ads.
- Develop creative for traditional formats, including print ads, brochures, flyers, signage, and editorial layouts.
- Support motion design needs for video content, including simple video animations, lower thirds, transitions, and branded visual effects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret creative briefs and deliver high-quality, on-brand visual content.
- Assist in concepting and executing creative campaigns across multiple channels.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs.
- Organize and maintain creative assets and design files in an efficient and accessible system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Abilities: - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Experience designing for both digital and print mediums.
- Familiarity with motion graphics tools and basic video editing skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design principles preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with brand guidelines.
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training (internships or freelance acceptable)
