SmartAC.com is looking for an experienced, data-focused marketer to create content that engages the company’s audience. In this critical role, you will design and execute world class content marketing programs.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, and can create content that engages. They’ll also have strong strategic and analytical marketing skills, along with a proven track record in content marketing focused on revenue building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver on overall content marketing strategy to meet growth objectives
• Write content and copy (including blogs, whitepapers, emails, etc), and edit for unique voice, tone, and style.
• Work with the Director of Marketing to take ownership of and develop assets, including: videos, ads, webinars, case studies, presentation decks, newsletters, etc.
• Leverage data and industry trends to make informed decisions to support brand building, thought leadership, lead generation, SEO, and driving overall growth.
• Understand and navigate the buyer journey to write content that pulls prospects through it to eventually drive new revenue.
• Manage relationships with external partners, such as industry experts, and work with them to product content for blogs, whitepapers, and webinars.
• Own the content calendar: plot deadlines for creation, publication and promotion.
• Work with a team of freelancers and content producers.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience in content creation & copywriting. SaaS and Trades experience a plus.
• Analytical – You must be comfortable tracking, analyzing, and interpreting relevant content metrics. You focus on connecting marketing efforts to revenue, and not just vanity metrics.
• Disciplined Execution – You never overlook the details, and work backward from an objective to set and accomplish appropriate results. You hold yourself accountable to established KPIs.
• Technical Experience – You have experience and are comfortable working with web analytics software, content management systems, and SEO tools like SEMRush or Moz.
• Excellent Communicator – You have the ability to articulate narratives to both executive leadership and outside teams.
