*Job Title:* Physical Therapist Assistant – 13 Week Contract
*Location: *Northfield, MN

Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. *Overview:*
* Setting: SNF/LTC and OP
* Pay Package: Starting at $1,500 per week
* Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee
* Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm – No weekends, holidays or call
* Start Date: 07/15/2025
* Length: 13 weeks
*Responsibilities: *
* Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
* Read instructions from Physical Therapist
* Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
* Speak with families to find best at-home techniques
* Keep physical therapy clean and organized
* Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area
* Teach patients techniques like balance training
*Qualifications: *
* Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapist Assistant
* Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
* CPR Certification
* Valid driver’s license
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
