Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Equity Analyst to join our investment team. The successful candidate will assist the portfolio managers in the research, analysis, and monitoring of public equities across a range of sectors. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research and financial analysis on individual companies, industries, and macroeconomic trends
• Build and maintain detailed financial models (e.g., DCF, comps, LBO) and valuation analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos and pitch books for internal investment committees.
• Monitor existing portfolio positions and track earnings reports, news, and relevant developments.
• Support the development of proprietary screens and idea generation tools. Attend industry conferences and management meetings as needed.
• Collaborate closely with others to formulate and present investment recommendations.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (required) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline
• CFA, CFA candidate, or willingness to enroll in the CFA Program strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in investment research, equity analysis, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Solid understanding of accounting, financial statements, and investment valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ is a plus.
• Programming experience in Python or other programming languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High intellectual curiosity, professional maturity, and ability to work independently.
