The Sr. Director of Product Management will lead the strategy and execution of T-Mobile's product experiences acting as the primary interface to senior leadership and will define and drive the product roadmap to achieve an exceptional customer experience and impactful business outcomes.
Bringing deep expertise in the product development lifecycle establish a shared vision for the future generation of product experiences by building consensus across the company on priorities leading to product execution.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop the data products that empower digital customer experiences to be contextual and personal, revamping and redesigning journeys using the new AI experiences.
  • Define the overall strategy for how to build and deliver the best experience to our existing users and grow the strategic areas in the T-Life Super App and T-Shop on web.
  • Build a Data & AI and Security platform for all Magenta users including Postpaid, Prepaid, TFB Micro and HSI; reusing the platform for Metro users to build the same capabilities in the new MyMetro App.
  • Enable all the core HSI (High Speed Internet) consumer experiences into one single platform available across Magenta and Metro brands. This includes HSI journeys across remote and local gateway management, for FWA and Fiber for improvement across the current flows like Mesh, security, device management, parental control etc.
  • Oversee Security Products for ScamSheild, P360, device diagnostics, VPN, credit monitoring etc. in T-Life to ensure that we can fully fill our promise of Peace of mind in the T-Life app.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with senior internal and/or external customers. Intimately understand customers business strategies, generating new ideas, and product strategies that are appropriately aligned. This covers individual product strategy as well as an overarching strategy for portfolio/platform(s).
  • Creates, plans, and owns a portfolio of high-quality products & services through a lifecycle of envisioning/investing/innovating. Define metrics to measure Product performance.
  • Champion and communicate information and AI product value and other key performance indicators to partners and team members.
  • Develop change management and communication plans and execute connected with customer change initiatives.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to create clear and measurable goals for the team aligned to company, department, and functional area objectives.
  • Regularly conduct organizational design thinking/strategy to best structure the team and leverage resources, using a mix of employees, managed services, and other partners where applicable. This includes periodic reviews of current and anticipated aggregate staffing capacity.
  • Lead and direct the continual improvement of enterprise-scale services, processes, and tools.
  • Assists direct reports with ongoing prioritization and resource allocation to ensure scope and outcomes are delivered.
  • Develop and implement staff and operations model to support systems for efficient, continuous availability.
  • Accountable for department budget, delivery and service performance, optimizing cost of service delivery, ensuring services are meeting or exceeding service levels. Ensure team activities, scope, and priorities align with funding and budgeted priorities.
  • Responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining a high-performing team of Product Managers, other product management staff to support products and platforms.

Experience & Qualifications :

  • More than 10 years Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment preferably in a large consumer organization with millions of consumer applications and an advanced level understanding of superior customer experiences.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI, data science, and analytics. Expertise in LLMs and Generative AI field.
  • Experience leading digital applications and successfully launching Data & AI products in the market at large scale.
  • Background working with Engineering and a strong understanding of the role of engineering in product development.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading strategy, innovation, and data products.
  • Advanced knowledge of data tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and technology platforms.
  • 5+ years leading and developing teams of 5 or more Manager level direct reports with skip-level employees.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience driving enterprise data, analytics, and insights solutions and other technologies.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and inspire team(s); managing performance, goals, and development potential, create and foster an environment that values and promotes autonomy, skill mastery, empowerment, transparency, innovation, and learning.

Base Pay Range: $207,700 - $280,900Corporate Bonus Target: 35%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
