Terrarium Shop Intern (Paid)
Plush Moon Terrarium Co - Knoxville, TN
Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (flexible part-time schedule)
Pay: $12–$13/hour
About the Opportunity:
Plush Moon Terrarium Co. is offering a hands-on learning opportunity for a student or early-career plant lover interested in horticulture, botany, or ecological design. This paid internship/apprenticeship will help build real-world experience in plant care, customer interaction, and creative workshop instruction.
What You’ll Do:
Learn to assist guests during DIY terrarium building sessions
Support private and off-site terrarium workshops
Gain experience in live plant inventory care and selection
Help maintain a clean and welcoming storefront environment
Prep materials and kits for upcoming events and online orders
Occasionally support community events or vendor pop-ups
Who This Is For:
Current student or recent grad in plant sciences, horticulture, biology, or environmental studies
Someone who has personal experience with plant care and wants to deepen that knowledge
Comfortable working with the public and eager to learn hands-on
Has reliable transportation for occasional event work
Must be available 2–4 days per week (within Thurs–Sun 12–6p block)
