What you’ll do:

The University Recruiter will be responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting services to Avis Budget Group’s business leaders and candidates, performing full-lifecycle university recruitment while maintaining excellent relationships. The job responsibilities of the University Recruiter will include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process for all Corporate and Field Intern roles across the US into our highly sought after Accelerate Intern and Graduate Program
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify needs and align expectations on engagement, evaluation, and hiring the best talent for the program, and organization
  • Track and analyze recruitment efforts of different sourcing channels, evaluate recruitment campaign success, and gather data to make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the business, including hiring managers, HR teams, and department heads to fully understand their hiring needs and ensure the best possible stakeholder experience
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies for campus recruitment, including attraction, sourcing, selection, and development based on full-time hiring targets by building relationships with career centers, college faculty, and diversity and student organizations
  • Analyze current undergraduate recruitment programs, align them with business initiatives, and conversion goals
  • Ability to clearly articulate, explain, and champion the programs strategy and critical programmatic messages to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead the execution of all logistical elements for campus marketing efforts (I.e. tabling, career fairs, resume workshops)
  • Manage specific aspects of on-site and off-site kick-off events, including candidate management, supervisor communication, and event planning and execution
  • Assist with the management of Accelerate program roll-outs, including training, events, feedback/evaluation

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, 3+ years’ university recruitment experience required
  • Ability to travel in the US - 20%
  • Proficient-advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office required
  • Previous experience with WorkDay, Paradox, and Calendly highly preferred
  • Able to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure, constantly changing environment while focusing on sense of urgency and time management
  • Detail-oriented; Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work
  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others, but also the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is an on-site role, based in our World Head Quarters in Parsippany, NJ. The annual starting salary for this position is between $70,000 – $100,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
